Welcome to Tulanet Infrastructure Day 2025!

The event is organised by VTT together with Tulanet (a cooperation forum of 11 Finnish government research institutes)

The theme of the event is the new European Research and Technology Infrastructure Strategy and expanded Nordic collaboration.
The first thematic session explores how the new European Research and Infrastructure strategy can shape the future by bringing together the EU level plans and insights of forerunners of national infrastructure strategies. A panel, gathering representatives from national ministries responsible for Tulanet infrastructure-intensive research institutes and policy development, and national funding authorities, the Research Council of Finland and Business Finland, will discuss how the EU strategy can support the development of national research and technology infrastructure (RI-TI) policy, and how to organise the national-level coordination to cover a broader scope of infrastructures, including technology infrastructures. The event also highlights the Tulanet institutes’ collaborations with Nordic organisations by showcasing examples of innovation ecosystems and company collaborations. An exhibition will present Tulanet organisations and stakeholders’ unique research and technology infrastructures.
