My research focuses on using socio-ecological systems thinking to study human-nature interactions in cities.
The study provides an interdisciplinary perspective into addressing various challenges including biodiversity loss, social inequality and decreasing planetary health. I combine different methods including participatory GIS, landscape and soundscape assessments, and experimental research to study nature impacts on human health and well-being. Overall, my study aims to provide evidence-based knowledge for urban greenspace planning and management.
